Prior to your Euphoric Travel please check:

Passport Validity: Make sure yours is valid for six months beyond your travel dates.

Visa Requirements: If you’re not a U.S. passport holder, ensure you know if a visa is needed and get it in time.

Vaccination: Check your vaccination status and get any necessary travel shots. Medellin doesn’t require vaccinations.

Bank Notification: Inform your bank about your travel to avoid any card issues.

State Department Alerts: Sign up for travel alerts.

Book Ahead: Reserve your flight to Rafael Nunez International Airport (CTG) in Medellin Colombia early for the best rates.

Passport & Visa: U.S. citizens need a valid passport but no visa for stays up to 90 days.

Room Info: Rooms are double occupancy with two beds. Solo travelers will be paired with a roommate if needed.
Group Activities: All group meals and activities are included. If you skip any, you’re on your own for costs.
Health Prep: Update routine vaccinations and bring insect repellent for mosquito protection.

FOOD & BEVERAGES:

Colombian Cuisine: Dive into diverse Colombian meals. Not all meals are included, so you might explore local options. Vegetarian options are available. Drinks are not covered.

ACTIVITY WARNING:

Physical Readiness: Be prepared for significant walking and hiking. Ensure you’re physically fit.

MONEY/CURRENCY:

Currency: The Colombian Peso (COP) is used. It’s best to get your money converted in your home country or use an ATM. The Colombian Peso fluctuates constantly. It can range anywhere from USD 1 = COP 3.400 - 4.200. Please download an application from your app store and keep up with this. Bring cash for tips, dining, and shopping. Credit cards are not accepted everywhere. Apple Pay, Google Pay are not accepted. Cash is king here.
